Re: My heads hurt...

If factory cast iron heads are the goal, it's hard to beat a 346 or 452 casting, I can't see a closed chamber 915 on a street engine especially with the swill OPEC is forcing upon us, for the most bang for the buck, Edelbrock aluminum heads as Jason suggested. I will gladly port the factory cast iron units as long as you can give me a little time, as some of the guys on the board know, my time is a little stretched these days, LOL!

I need some help.  I am trying to understand the differences between the stock heads on my 1962 Newport and the stock 915 heads from 1967.  I've tried reading and re-reading this http://www.moparmusclemagazine.com/techarticles/5115_cylinder_heads/index.html looking at all the numbers and stuff have given me a headach.  Are they basicly the same?  What's the differences?  Are the 915 a better cast than a 924?  Is there more HP and TQ you can get out of 915 heads vrs a 924?  I can run either on my car, I would like to know what's going to give me the best bang for my buck.

Thanks in advance
