Re: 1962 Dodge Dart Heater Controls

Pics I found online via google image search for 1964 Dodge dart interior show horizontal buttons and left to right they are off, heat, defrost and cool. Ruth

Hello,

I have a very small problem which I am sure is easy to solve.

My dashboard has four unmarked push buttons on the right side (opposite side to Torqueflight push buttons). I also have a little packet of decals which read OFF, DEF, HI, LO. I would really appreciate a photo of a dash board, or page out of an owners manual to show the correct order of these decals top to bottom and how the dash board and controls should look. I would also appreciate any information on how these work. It seems that the buttons are vacuum assisted electrical devices. There is also a fan switch somewhere?. I have an article by Kevin Merkley from the 62-65 web site which lists the functions, possibly in correct order top to bottom going down the page., This article is helpful, but it assumes that I have more information and more bits and pieces than I actually have.

Thank you in anticipation
