Re: Help decoding

Hello Jesse & welcome! That's quite a fun ride you have there!

Not all manufacturing plants used the exact same tag codes. I believe the fender tag number decode possibilities are based on where the Mopar was assembled because some assembly records were destroyed. Other plants' records were saved. Your car's VIN will also tell you the assembly plant that bolted together your Plymouth. Where was it built?

Here is a link to a 1963 Plymouth Sport Fury Convertible tag decode from a Plymouth assembled at the Lynch Road, MI plant. http://www.1962to1965mopar.ornocar.com/mmo42009.html

You also can contact Chrysler Historical and they may have the build records for your car.
http://wpchryslermuseum.org/page.aspx?pid=400 is the link.

Thanks,
Gary H.

Please address private email -- email of interest to only one person -- directly to that person. That is, email your parts/car transactions and negotiations, as well as other personal messages, only to the intended recipient. Do not just press "reply" and send your email to everyone using the general '62-'65 Clubhouse public email address. This practice will protect your privacy, reduce the total volume of mail and fine-tune the content signal to Mopar topic. Thanks!
