Re: Looking for cam selection help

If you want to know about cams, there is a good article linked off the 62-65 tech page called "General overview article about engine cams and cam selection" - about 2/3 of the way down. http://1962to1965mopar.ornocar.com/techstuff.html

Yes there is a whole system that needs matching. Discussing the complete car's weight / powertrain components with a Mopar-knowledgeable cam grinder is a good suggestion. Several vendors were already mentioned. Another favorite from past discussions here is Jim at Racer Brown Cams, listed on the 62-65 Vendor's page.

Or you could sell the RB and put in a poly stroker. :) Heh heh

Thanks,
Gary H.

Please address private email -- email of interest to only one person -- directly to that person. That is, email your parts/car transactions and negotiations, as well as other personal messages, only to the intended recipient. Do not just press "reply" and send your email to everyone using the general '62-'65 Clubhouse public email address. This practice will protect your privacy, reduce the total volume of mail and fine-tune the content signal to Mopar topic. Thanks!
