Remote mirror issue

Hi everyone. I'm having issue with my remote mirror on my 64 Polara. Housing is so nice yet internals are incomplete I guess. There is something missing and I think it is what connects the swivel mechanism to the mirror. Maybe it's some kind of ball/stud. Previous owners stuck a huge glob of silicone in there to hold mirror on and in doing that it caused the mirror to become non adjustable plus the holes in the back of the mirror are enlarged so the wires won't stay in place. I think what would cure my issue is if I get the internals and swap that into my housing??? Mirror measures 4 1/4" in diameter. Here are links to pics of what I have. Any suggestions? Thanks, Ruth

Please address private email -- email of interest to only one person -- directly to that person. That is, email your parts/car transactions and negotiations, as well as other personal messages, only to the intended recipient. Do not just press "reply" and send your email to everyone using the general '62-'65 Clubhouse public email address. This practice will protect your privacy, reduce the total volume of mail and fine-tune the content signal to Mopar topic. Thanks!
