Re: console shifter top plate

That plate is looks exactly like the one on my 65 Coronet 500 which i am sending out for re-chroming. The inside of the ribs  are black and the other flat areas are painted, I was told the color is argent?, with the chrome being displayed on the top edges of all the ridges and around the shifter.

It looks like the right era.  It is not a 64-65 B-Body unit, however.  C-Body, maybe?
