Re: soft brake pedal?

Jim, start with the easy stuff first:

Check the master cylinder fluid level. If it's low, keep an eye on it to make sure there's not a leak in the system.

Check underneath the car. Any power steering fluid leaks?

Subject: soft brake pedal?

Last Sunday it felt like my brakes are going a little soft.  Subtle,
but it feels like I was pushing more to the floor than usual, though
it still stops.  It's a 63 Polara 500, 383 auto.  I have a single
master, which I'm guessing is original, no booster and drums all
around.  I won't have time to dive into it until the weekend.  What
should I be looking for and checking or adjusting?

I envision going to a dual MC sometime.  What's the best way to go about that?

As always, thanks in advance.
