Re: TGIF trivia

Dodger and Rich are on target. Here is the answer:

Tom "Mongoose" McEwen's 1965 "Plymouth Dealers" Hemi Barracuda, at over 150 mph, negative pressure created by the fastback styling, combined with a high front end and lack of rear suspension caused liftoff.

The second hint was a picture of version 2 of the Fish: the rear window had slots added to allow air to escape.

They also modified the front suspension and added a spring-shock pivot rear suspension and blocked off the front grille to prevent positive pressure under the car and avoid ait time for Version 2 of the Fish.

Thanks,
Gary H.

Please address private email -- email of interest to only one person -- directly to that person. That is, email your parts/car transactions and negotiations, as well as other personal messages, only to the intended recipient. Do not just press "reply" and send your email to everyone using the general '62-'65 Clubhouse public email address. This practice will protect your privacy, reduce the total volume of mail and fine-tune the content signal to Mopar topic. Thanks!
