Re: Primer for small areas

Sounds reasonable. POR-15 is excellent stuff.

How about buying a quart of a POR type sealer and just brushing it on the specific problem areas after removing any loose rusty material? Seems that the goal is to mostly slow or stop the rust from munching on the tin until proper bodywork / paint prep can be done.

Primer is not weather friendly. It is not a top coat. Any money you spend
will be wasted as the body shop that does your paint job will sand it off
 anyway.

Been doing some research on primers for small areas. I have some dents,
dings & rust i would like to start dealing with asap. My paint window to do
the car is probably a year away due to saving up the funds.

I found some rattle can spray that from what I have researched is pretty
 good. Here is a link.
