you could also just buy some etching primer in spray bombs at your local parts store much cheaper than that stuff you are looking at and then spot with rustoleum paint over the etching primer and it would be fine till your ready to have the car painted,,

you can always spray rustoleum paint over top of the primer when your done to seal it and then they could sand the paint off when they are getting it ready to paint and that would work just fine and prevent flash rusting..

Yeah, I figured it wouldn't be a cheap solution. Big issue I have is no compressor, spray equipment or a garage to spray in. I figured I shouldnt need more than 3-4 cans to do all the areas I need to address now. It would be better than the cheapo primer & seems like it would protect it a lot better till I can get it painted.
