The dash was not touched, I cut a piece of black plastic to fit opening in the dash bezel, then cut a piece of sheet metal about same size and sandwiched them over original radio holes putting the plastic on outside, and the metal on inside the dash area, the adjustable meter pods were then fastened to both layers and the gauges then installed
