license plate lamp housing

Can anyone get me a picture of what the license plate lamp housing looks like from the outside as well as inside? Is there a lens also or just a bulb that snaps into a recessed housing?
I want to make my 1962 Belvedere street legal as well as nostalgia drags.
Joe Suchy wanted to know what it looks like. All I have is the rectangle hole it fits into and screws to body above license plate
