Re: Been wondering

In '65, the Polara was the BIG dodge, the Coronet (and Charger) were mid size, and the Dart was the Compact.
Best explanation I could come up with.

I got a 65 Polara 2dr.  According to everybody into old cars, it's considered a C body.
I don't see how this is possible when in a side by side comparison, it's no bigger than a '68 Runner.  In fact it's about 8 - 10 inches shorter than my buddy's '71 300, from bumper to bumper.  Any thoughts?  This is also weighing on what intake I'm going to run.  A good explanation will be appreciated.

Please address private email -- email of interest to only one person -- directly to that person. That is, email your parts/car transactions and negotiations, as well as other personal messages, only to the intended recipient. Do not just press "reply" and send your email to everyone using the general '62-'65 Clubhouse public email address. This practice will protect your privacy, reduce the total volume of mail and fine-tune the content signal to Mopar topic. Thanks!
