RE: 413 and TF For Sale



But before I get carried away again, I don't think a 413 was available in a '64 Polora, was it? I want to stick with a date coded engine that was available for my car. It seems like it was 361, 383, and 426 4bbl for standard engines. I may knock myself out for a '64 426 standard wedge, but otherwise I better stick with what I have

A '64 413? Damn, that would be nice to rebuild for my '64 Polora instead of the 361 that I have. But Minnesota is on the wrong side of the Dakota's for someone from the Pacific coast. I wonder what it cost to ship? (Probably a lot more than it's worth)

Yeah, I know.  But I just got rid of an engine I didn't need and I already have my bb cable shift TF along with a sb TF I don't need in my garage.  Plus the cost of diesel right now.  But, still...... hmm.....

This is on Craig's List in Minneapolis.  I'd hate to see that cable shift TF go to the scrap yard.  If I were closer I'd buy it even though I don't need it.  I'm tempted to make the 5 hour drive to go get it, but that would be stupid - right?  Standard disclaimer - No affiliation to me, blah, blah, blah.
