RE: Hood lock?

Welding razor blades inside the front edge of lip of the hood near the latch
would be a good deterrent. At least it saved my buddies 2nd set of bubble
fender skirts back in the 60's although he did have to clean the blood off
of his wide whites a couple of times.

I went a different route - more to deter a car thief.

I have the battery, alarm system and electric battery disconnect
located in the trunk. I operate the battery disconnect with the alarm
remote control. When the battery is disconnected NO power leaves the
trunk. The remote is a paging remote that will sound if the car is
tampered with. Our cars are too easy to hot wire.

Nothing is perfect, it can always be flat bedded and be gone.

(and I do really like the way it looks under the hood without a
battery)

lock setup I had on a '65 Dart years ago. Been doing some internetting
trying to find one but came up empty.
