Re: D-Darts and 65

I hadn't looked at the D-Dart page in a while, and was mis-remembering some stuff I thought I knew. It seemed like there was a bit of sales "puffery" in both of the Mecum ads. Just the nature of the beast, I guess! The sad part is that the factory got so close, then virtually bailed. A serious lightening program, maybe using a sedan body (if it was lighter), losing the GT trim, etc. I've loved the early A body Darts since they came out, drawing pictures of 'en in my high school art class even.

Re-read the Mecum Auction description. Mopar no doubt intended this car for drag raceing, And they gave out information as to what additional work needed to be done. Mecum auction car sounds like after dealer prep instead of as rolling of the factory assembly line. Click on some of the other information in that D Dart information page...............................MO

That is, email your parts/car transactions and negotiations, as well as other personal messages, only to the intended recipient. Do not just press "reply" and send your email to everyone using the general '62-'65 Clubhouse public email address. This practice will protect your privacy, reduce the total volume of mail and fine-tune the content signal to Mopar topic. Thanks!
