If I can't find a used driveshaft to shorten, I could get by with just the yoke and make a new driveshaft. Doubtful that the driveshaft shops around here would have other than a big  truck or generic yoke. I usually don't buy new if good used parts are available. It's not that I am cheap--- it is because I have no Money!  8-)   ...................................MO

 Any of you have a driveshaft or even just the trans. slip  yoke that fits a 727 or 4 speed tranny ( same) that uses the 7290 larger U joint? That is 2 5/8"  with a 1.125 dia. cap. Thanks for any help.......................MO
