I wonder about their comment about the Saginaw being the superior pump.  Doesn't seem they offer any reason for the statement.  In the first link it is noted that the F-M pump uses a two stage valve.  This would seem to be an advantage.  It is also noted that the F-M pump mounting location gives more room around the battery tray.

It looks like the valve is actually on top of the steering box. Does anyone know anything about these pumps that would help slow down the pressure to help with road feel. Any and all information greatly appreciated.
