Mostly they are overpriced, in lousy shape or have been re-engined with a 440, which is not my thing. I emailed back and forth with a fellow in NY with a 65 S. The interior was really nice but needed a new front fender, which he had, some small rust repair and a dent in the roof. I suggested that I would split the cost of the repairs and swap cars and never heard from him again. I went to see this 67 this weekend. It looks OK in the photos but was a mess when I saw it. Hard to believe someone would pay those dollars for this car, which needed new rear seat and headliner, underneath some rust repair, re-chroming everything, carper, glass weatherstripping, re-sprung springs.
