Re: Wiring the instrument panel

They are direct replacements for the old bulbs!  Just push and turn counter clock wise to pull the old bulbs out of the sockets, do the reverse with the LEDs to install them.  Then reinstall the sockets into the board.

I'm looking to replace all the bulbs with new while the instrument panel is out of the dash. The LEDs that Herb speaks of look interesting but I wonder are they direct replacements that twist in to the circuit board or do you need to put together a simple harness for the lights?
Gary are the ones you have new bulbs? If so I'd be interested. That's the easiest fix.

A full service old-time parts store should have the original type  bulbs. Maybe NAPA too. Also, you may want to ask Mopar bulb guru Dan Stern if he has any suggestions for a more modern bulb to use to illuminate better.
His email is on http://danielsternlighting.com/products/products.html

Thanks,
