I converted the Coronet with bits and pieces from parts cars as well as MSD module, but this time I used a new a performance kit that included a new distributor, control module, and wiring harness (and no MSD).  I am considering getting another kit for a 440 engine to replace the old parts and MSD I used on the Coronet.

Did mine from bits and pieces left over from other projects thru the years.  Even the wiring harness was from some other car, I think a 69 GTX, that ended up with an MSD as the engine grew.  Followed some instructions found on the net and it fired right up.  Don't  know about the Pertronix tho.  Point is, if I can do it,,, well you know the rest !! :-)

I installed an electronic ignition conversion kit to replace the old crapped out points distributor on the 383 engine in the '64 wagon over the week-end.

It was so easy a Chevy guy could have done it
