valve cover gasket question

Hi all,

When putting on a new valve cover gasket on a Poly 318 what works best for you? That is, do you use any additional gasket sealer or just the gasket itself?  

This is the gasket: Fel Pro VS11828R "Cork-Rubber is the most frequently used material. FEL-PRO Blue Stripe premium-quality cork-rubber gaskets use evenly-sized cork particles evenly distributed throughout a rubber binder. The result is a compressible gasket without leak paths."
