When I am ready for springs, I will have then made up in Omaha, Ne. I think the shop is run by a 3rd generation-- Last I knew, they make their own leaf springs from raw material. I looked at one of their spec books and it list every application. I notice the cop springs have one more leaf on the right than the left. I am sure they could build SS springs if I wanted. I used to get myPeterbilt truck springs from them.......................MO

In today's market it is sometimes hard to tell where the steel is made. I did not see mention of steel origin on the ESPO website.

I spoke with a truck spring shop in the Houston area that has been in business since the 1930s. They rebuild/re-arch a lot of truck springs. The guy I gabbed with said they would re-arch / rebuild some 1963 springs for me -- but they would not give a warranty. He said the steel was too old to keep the arch in the long term and they did not want an unhappy customer.

Yes for improved handling on corners he should put on front and rear sway bars.

 springs probably from China and if good quality that's OK if they are an
 exact fit.  With a company like Saint Louis Spring your having your old
 springs rebuilt/re-arched so you are fairly much assured fit will be the
least of your concerns. I do believe tracking or cornering was one of your concerns in the beginning. While your back their working I would recommend
 a rear swaybar to tighten things up.
