Personally, I’d refinish those turbines. But that’s just me. I’ve pulled the chromies off my ’62 Dart and refinished some turbines for it. Just a quick sandblasting, laid down black automotive base coat, turned the face on a lathe, then clear coated. 245/15’s on the front, 275/15’s on the rear. I have been looking for a set of Crager S/S wheels like this (or a set of chrome steelies) for a long time as I wanted the "old school" look for the wagon. The wheels will take some polishing and maybe painting but they are complete and in good shape. The tires are almost new.
