The paint was metal-flaked and was coming off in areas. The headliner was half off and I bet there is a lot of damage underneath but the seat covers appeared to be in pretty good shape. It was clearly an amateur restoration a while ago that is well past its prime. I think they probably took it in as a trade and are trying to move it out so $2,000 is probably a real number. Maybe the engine is hurting and it is not worth it to the shop to try to do something with the car.

Beautiful, even for a four door. And that $2000 has got to be a mistake. He probably forgot the 1 in front of the two. Yeah $12,000 would be a fair price for that car. Or he forgot a zero at the end. I suspect there is frame or serious floor damage if they are selling it for $2,000 but a quick look indicates that there is some good metal and the interior and most of the trim is fairly good.
