Same here, back in 1995 everyone was asking "1965 fury? why do you waste time and money with that POS? Buy Cuda or Charger those are worth restoring." Yes I agree those are fine cars, but I like big cars with power.

Yes originally with 225 + 3 spd. I replaced front frame in 1995 and installed 318 LA + TF727

On 65-66 furies whole front frame is bolted. So you can replace compelete front frame and that is what I did back in 1995.

If it is like the B Body cars, then the engine will sit slightly closer to
the firewall ( 1 5/8" if I recall right) with a 1966 verses a 1965 K member.
