'62-65 Speedometer Gearing



    Gary,
        We still build the ratio adapters.  We settled on .75 reduction as it gives better coverage for more combinations (Factory used .80).  I've attached a chart I put together for dealers showing what pinion gear is required for a given tire size, including combinations that require the ratio adapter.  Bear in mind this information is good for '62-65 vehicles only - '61 and back as well as '66 and up are different.  Please post the chart for the group if you would.  We still don't have new gears (yet), but Wayne Brewer has a pretty good assortment of used gears last time we spoke.

    I don't know if any ratio adapters are available for 62-65 style cables.
