Excuse me for straying from the sacred 62-65 category (my favorite cars of all time) but I need some help with finding a rear bumper core for my 66 Coronet 500. My plater says the one I turned in needs too much work filling holes and straightening and I agree that it won't look as good as the rest of the car after it is plated.
Brackets were bent up too, so if someone has a straight bumper that needs plating and a pair of brackets for sale or trade there is still time for you to make my Xmas list......
66-67 Charger and 67 Coronet are the same rear bumper, however the Charger brackets are longer than the Coronet. Both have back up lites in the bumper. The 66 Coronet has back up lites in the trunk lid but is the same. I will use the 67 bumper if I can get it complete with back up lites and just cover the holes in the trunk lid with a 67 tail panel.
- I have some 63 Dodge 330 stuff - the "Original Ramcharger's" clone is painted and lettered up and ready for the motor - so Im going to sell off the extra 63 stuff. I will post a parts list with pics of the car before I put anything on Ebay.
