RE: 65 New Yorker motor mount

The polyurethane mounts are awesome - but will put more vibration into the body - same as poly suspension bushings. Have not taken the 60+ year old rubber mounts off mine yet, but they still look intact. Then again they may be so old and hard, poly would not make a difference. Or old and soft from engine oil and tranny fluid leakage. I did just replace the leaf springs, shackles and bushings, and the rubber bushings were in surprisingly good shape. Dried and cracked on the end showing and exposed to sunlight, but still soft and intact inside the springs eye and body mount. Smashed and out of round some, but intact.

I did go for poly strut rod bushings, and rubber for the rest of the suspension bushings and bumpers. Soon to tackle the front suspension rebuild.

Yes they have the steel bracket / polyurethane version. Should be heavy duty. 10% off Christmas sale too by the way. http://www.engine-swaps.com/Pages/ProductsYear/65cBodyBRB.html

Thanks,
