There are many opinions about this issue. The norm appears to be the Dexron for the 727 but I use the Mobil One Syn ATF in mine. My trans guy was fine with that. It was recommended by a previous member on our board , Don Dulmage,so I took his advice. I also use the Mobil One 10w30 with a zinc additive. But only after running the break-in oil for the initial start-up and break in.
