    Just to confirm the comments you are getting, it should idle better than that. I've got the next bigger cam, the Extreme Energy 228, and it will idle okay at 750-900 rpm.

    Well you could yank that cam out, but it's a lot easier, and cheaper
    to go to a looser convertor. Try a 9.5" Dynamic with a 4000 stall.
    And it'll drive like you want .

    $50,000.00 in 1994 had the same buying power as $79,920.78 in 2014. So it was a great deal in 1994 -- or it is not such a good deal now. The buyer decides that. :)
