For sure Rich. In 1968 a guy near here bought a 340
Duster. No one knew about them cause they were so new. He could put a good
running SS396 360HP to shame! I understand that all 340 engines are high

Pop hot rod mag ran a comparo of the 350ish engines
for about 4-5 years in that era. It was the 351 Ford, 350 Chev, 350
Pont, 350 Olds and the 340. The 340 came out waaay on top every year.
It was hugely underrated. I still have those mag's too.
