Re: Muffler Preferences

I would get the compleat system from TTI, obviously your local guy knows not what he is doing!  Three inch pipe is a cakewalk on our cars, I know because I used three inch pipe on one of my cars years back and used a three inch TTI system most recently on my 63 Fury.  If he cant get two and a half inch pipe over two words comes to mind, incompetent rookie!  If he's reducing it down to two inch pipe, you might as well do the whole system in two inch pipe.  Just my 2¢

FINALLY getting to pull the trigger on the stroker motor the for 65
Coronet. Along with this will be TTI Headers, 2.5" exhaust, and mufflers.

I'm trying to decide which ones to use...Flowmaster, Dynomax,
Magnaflow, something else?

Any thoughts on sound preference?

Also, is it worth the extra $100 to get a TTI header back system over
having it bent locally? "Local shop was talking about necking down to
2" over the axle than going back up to 2.5"...not sure I like this
idea.)

Thanks!
