Just a bunch of prima donna whinny be-atches driving clone (Clown) cars with decals representing manufactures.  O, and WTH is up with the rice burners?  We use to go to at least two NASCAR races every year and mostly more, back in the day.  Not been to one in 25+ years, matter of fact I own two Dodge jackets and used MoPar patches to cover the NASCAR logo.  O for the days when Real Race Car Drivers raced Real Cars and won Real Races.  NASCAR has turned into WWE, all contrived in advance.  I know, I know, I should not flower it up and tell it like it is, but there are kid's on here!

I have no interest in NASCAR.  But listening to some of the people I know that follow it, it seems like it has become more of a personality driven thing.  When I was a youngster and did pay attention it was all about the brand.  The old race on sunday buy on monday thing.  It may still be true for some but I suspect it has become more soap opera for a large slice of the viewers/

I imagine many of us will be watching the race today.  I want to put in a plug for a 'little guy' of sorts.  I'm rooting for David Gilliland, #38, as I knew his Dad when I lived in California.  He is  a master mechanic and previous racer.  He helped me with some projects and is a super nice guy.  Back in the 80's he showed me his Nascar 'coated' pistons they were beginning to use.  Yeah LeRoar has coated pistons.
