need 727 SB trans,  console/shifter..  in upstate N.Y.

looking to convert my 64 belvedere -w- 318 poly..  PUSH BUTTON shift.    this has been a nitemare since the start.    who say's there all the same?     i replaced the slant 6 with this 318.     when it came to the tranny.   i was given a push button tranny from a cuda.  267 engine????    there NOT all the same as i'm finding out.  the poly block tranny and the 267 tranny arn't the same bolt pattern.    it took some doing but i modified the poly block to accept the (newer than 66) 318 S.B. 727..

now all i have to do is find one.   i'm guessing the "B" body is a dart/valiant..

either that or someone to come over and get the push button shifter hooked back up.    i'm no slouch in the garage,  but i can't get my fat assperator under the dash.

anybody have exp. with these things?    or a tranny to sell.....

This seems to be an opinion thing. A lot of folks say to ignore the rubber band and “anti-rattle” kits since the rubber will deteriorate and the kits are more cosmetic than curative. ...more
