Re: Which X-Pipe Connector?

Bill,
I built my entire system from headers to mufflers with 2 180 degree u-bends fro Jegs. I cut the bends at 45 degrees from each "leg" end which gave me 4 straight pieces with integral 45 and 2 90 degree elbows. The X was made by tacking angle iron to each side of the 90 to form a cutting guide for my portable band saw thus allowing me to cut the heel off the 90. Then I just welded the 2 90's together to form the X. I just eye ball "engineered" the amount I removed from the 90's. I used 3" size with Flowmaster mufflers and turn downs. I also decided to install cutouts, HeHe! As efficient as I believed the system to be the car picked up 20 horsepower on the chassis dyno by opening the cutouts.
