In those days, the unvieling of the new cars was a big
deal! And everyone would attend the dealerships for free coffee, donuts,
and balloons. Cars did not look about all the same and each manufacturer had
different features. Magazines had pics of all the new offerings. Today, If
I were to buy a new car or pickup, I wouldn't know where to begin. They REALLY
were the good old days..................MO

Travis! My parents were at the World's Fair in '64. They even stole two
empty wood casks of beer which we still have to this day LOL Drove
there in a brand new '64 Impala convertible (black over red). Still mad at my

Take a look at the Chrysler exhibit in the slide show as well as
the turbine cars in the video. Manufacturer's budgets must have off the
charts.
