'62 Wagon rear seat archeology

To any early wagon owners.... (Mine is a ’62 Dart).

Was taking out some of the rusty back inside cargo floor panels last night to have them sandblasted.  Having a potbelly stove blasted, so figured save a trip and maybe get a better deal overall.

Does your wagon have a release handle for the rear seat on the passenger side?  If so, maybe you could send a picture?  I have the spring metal part, but the chrome handle if there was one is missing.  Like to see what the basic shape was before I make something for it.

Also does your narrow fold-up floor piece right behind the rear seat work?  Mine is frozen in place straight up, even after a year of soaking it with penetrating oil.  Looks like it should be a spring loaded piano style hinge to pop up the panel when you want the seat up?

When I took the seat back off, inside the seat was a thin strip of remaining ol’ skool clear plastic puffy seat covers.  And a store credit memo receipt dated 1963 for a 1924 Cadillac “car coat” made out to Mrs. John C. Crocker.  Maybe the first owners, since my grandparents bought the wagon in 1969.  At any rate both the seat cover remains and the receipt, show they were car people that took car of their cars.  The Cadillac was 39 years old at that time.  Maybe the $19.90  “car coat” was a car cover, or undercoating?
