RE: Wiper Arms

Related info:

Wiper arms that convert OEM weird blades to ”modern” blades: Anco SH180

Blades: Anco Turtleback Dead-Locker 16”  (Tougher to find).

Found my arms easily on eBay from BobCrane309 - asked the seller if he had the blades and scored a NOS set that way.  All the sets of arms listed right now are Bob’s:

http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_trksid=p2050601.m570.l1313.TR0.TRC0.H0&_nkw=Anco+SH180++++&_sacat=0&_from=R40

Also new 16” replacements for arms and blades....

51-250 Trico Arms – Adjustable for length and angle of blade. Even come with tapered shaft adapters!

Trico Classic Blades:
33-150 (15")
33-162 (16")

If you don’t like the not-so-classic large plastic attachment adapter that comes with the Trico “Classic” 16” blade….. You can find some original blades used or NOS such as:

’67-’68 Mustang (15”)

’67-’69 Camaro (15”)

’69-’70 Mustang (16”)

The refills for these are still made by Trico. NAPA Part # 60-1612 for the 16’s…..

Subject: Wiper Arms

Does anyone know how to remove the mounting nut off a wiper arm to use on another arm? Is it pressed on permanently? So far I don’t see how it would come off and go back on.

Thanks,

Dave
