Gents am trying to pull  a locked up engine from my 65 Bel II vert (318 poly). I have all the bolts loose and ready to yank the assembly out except I can't figure out how to unhook the 2 transmission cables. I don't want to cut them yet.  I have spun off the adjuster and the pan is off but with limited visual access I can't see what to take of to get the cable out. The other cable which I assume is the shifter/gear changer, I have taken off all six? bolts, the crimp  nut but the assembly won't budge. If i can't get the cables off I will separate the torque converter from the transmission  and go from there. Lastly has anyone ever had a frozen drive shaft input shaft, I can't separate the drive shaft from the trans. Any help/thoughts on the above would be greatly appreciated. If this has been discussed before, my apologies as I have been away from the list for some time. Thanks in advance
