Re: Need Part

Ollie, we had a 86 Chrysler New Yorker /turbo and that light mounts inside the rear window. I think it would look nice, but don't know if it is weather-proof................................MO

Still taking good care of my Dodge pick-up?

That is a cool looking light Ollie, I like the way it sits up on a pedestal. I believe 86 was the first year for a 3rd brake light and they used that light in 86,87 and maybe 88 on the LeBaron converts but I think in 89 they went to a more flat mounted light like this New Yorker one on eBay.

Hi Steve,

What is cool about that light is that it is a complete housing. All these aftermarket LED lights are made to mount in the back window package tray and are not water proof.

I think it would look cool.

Hi everybody,

I know this is not site related, but we are all Mopar guys, so here goes.

Went to a car show Saturday and saw a 87 Chrysler LeBaron convertible. I spotted his 3rd taillight and I need one. Any knowledge on this part will help me out. What years was this light used? models? know where one is located? I need one for my Rambler convertible.

It was a great day for 62-65 Mopars. Two first place trophies !!! Tom Kirkwood for his 65 Dart GT Convertible (1965 to 1975 class) , and Jerry Palmer for his 65 Cuda, (under construction class). Pleasant surprise, as we all know Mopars usually don’t fair well. I am wondering if both of them being my buddies helped out???? hehehehehe
