RE: seat belt buckles?

Those are not the seat belt buckles that came with my 65 Bel nor the ones I pulled from a couple of junk 65s.  I recall that mine have a pebbled surface that is painted the same color as the darker contrasting color on my door panels.  In my case, they are dark blue.  The buckle inserts look correct.   It is possible that my car may not have had seat belts as original equipment and that the installed belts were off-the-shelf or were from another model year.  I will try to send a picture today or tomorrow.  Bob from Maine

I don't have a photo of 1963 seat belt buckle.

The photo I posted yesterday was from a 1962 Dart which may be aftermarket, I don't know.

1968 and up are definitely different. 

If I get the info I will post a web page showing the seat belt buckles for 1962 - 1965. Any help is appreciated.
