Re: Fury Engine Wiring

You're welcome to come down to my house and look at the wiring in my '65 Plymouths. Bet I'm only 15 minutes away.

Subject: Fury Engine Wiring

I am putting the final parts of my engine replacement back into the 64 Fury 318, and am having a "senior moment" remembering where some of the wiring goes.  It has been over a year, and I can remember about 90%, but my brain farts force me to have a few questions:

There is a purple wire near the alternator with a plug-type end.  Alternator?
There is another wire with a cloth wrap and a small loop connector.  Alternator?
The large loop connector and the plug-type are already on the alternator (single-field).

Also, does it matter which heater hose goes to the water pump and which goes to the block?  This is a non-A/C car, and the hoses both come out of the drivers side of the firewall.

Does anyone have a 1964 318 engine wiring diagram they can send to me at:  Alienvoice@xxxxxxx

Thanks,

Larry (Akron)
