Re: Would like to get rid of the 1964 tapered axle rear end

It's easy task to convert using napa parts an I just deleted it off my desk top so we will have to ask Gary where to find the instructions but the instructions included napa part numbers and pictures you still use your current axels and housing just change the studs and brake drum. Basically
I was going to do it then decided to change the whole rear as I had one laying around and it was cheaper as I didn't have to buy any parts

I know from reading the forum here that there are ways to convert from the 64 tapered axle rear end to something easier to work with. I'd like to get  something from a company who could sell me a bolt up solution or advice on how to get what I need. I don't care that the total rear end might be 1/8" narrower than the 64 as I'll be running street tires, but would like it to look correct except to the most discerning eyes. If you know of a company who sells remanufactured rear ends like I want or can tell me where to get a complete original non-64 rear end for my 64 Plymouth, even if I have to rebuild it, I'd appreciate it.

Thanks/Butch
