look under the hood in the dark to see any spark leak, drape a tarp over the opened hood if you have to,It worked for me a couple of times, it takes the guess work out if you can see that little blue light, good luck,

Once I had a spark plug wire come loose and the engine would miss until the car moving motion "reset" the wire to a good connection.
