As I have reported, my engine was not pulling past 5000 rpm and speculation was that it was a fuel supply problem. Well, yesterday I pulled the carb and noticed the PCV port at the base was not capped. (feeling a bit foolish)
Gotta think that was a problem and lead to a lean mixture. Sound like the right call?
Did discover the electric fuel pump was not running but that is a new problem as I am sure it was running last time I raced back in June.
