Re: master cylinder woes

I am with Rich - m/cbore has nothing to do with a pedal going to the floor.  You have air or a leak or both...

Actually the larger bore should make it spongier. I have something just a bit over 1" and it's too spongy. I am looking to get one with the 1" or perhaps less. This has been discussed often in the past. Bench bleeding the mc is necessary. Did you do that?

Hi fellas
here's my problem
62' Plymouth Valiant modified
replaced the front drum brakes with a disc kit (The Ram man)
I have added a line-lok
long story short I have now (after many attempts at bleeding )
isolated the front brake reservoir directly to a tee and the front brake lines only
still no pressure and no leaks (this leads me to a faulty master cylinder this will be the 3r)
i can pump the pedal about ten times to get some feel but when i release it and re-try the pedal goes all the way to the floor
any thoughts / input appreciated
Enzo
