Re: Auto Trans Crossmember Conversoin

If this sounds to complicated for you, Brewers Performance in Ohio has these converted 4 speed transmission mounts
available and I believe that they also will allow you a core trade in price for your old one. You can reach either Wayne or
Danny at this phone number 937-698-4258

Jeff, I'm sending this to you only because this picture I lifted off ebay is so big and I don't want start a war with the dial-up guys. Who still has dial up anyway? When I bought my car years ago the trans mount was missing and the only one I could find was an auto. I bought it and modified it to work. Dimensions are the same and it mounts the same in the chassis. I simply cut the extension off and ground it flush, cut the center plate out and added two braces to keep it rigid. You will also need to drill a hole in the bottom center to attach the insulator. My car is an original big block and I don't know if yours is any different. Its a fairly easy conversion. Let me know if you need additional info. T
