I never use the end seals. If its the same as LA-style intak, just run a large bead of silicone/RTV on each rail, let it setup a bit, then install the intake. After the RTV sets up completely, use a sharp utility knife to trim the excess.

Getting ready to install my new intake on my motor. When I set it on with the main gaskets in place, the gap at the ends between the intake and block is half the thickness of the end seals. The foam version will compress just fine but will squeeze out unless glued down. The cork won't squeeze out but I'm concerned about its ability to compress that much.

Any thoughts about using one vs the other?
