RE: headers

Thanks. I was at the indy cylinder swap meet today lookin around didn't see anything I thought I could make work.  Took a close look at 5 he A&M max wedge manifolds. Boy are they sweet but no way will they fit my application as the long rams would hit them they stick up above the valve covers. So center dump truck manifolds or something.   Thanks for all the ideas guys
Jason

To Bob's original question, no I haven't.  What I did use on my 63 Sport Fury w/ 440, and have been very happy with is the Schumacher Tri Y's.  These will drop in after the engine is installed without a problem.  They are about the same price as as the Hookers.  I would recommend using a mini starter.  I buy an over the counter starter for a 95 Dakota V-8 and it works perfectly.  Some of them come with an additional plastic piece where the cables hook up that is in the way but can be removed without affecting anything.

Jason, might be worth a call to Schumacher to see what they can tell you.  They do list headers for 65 BB 'C' bodies.  They might be able to help.

Has anyone tried Hooker Super Comp headers (5101) on a 64 Savoy with a 440 in it?
